Free Guitar Tuner for the iPhone

Just tap one of the buttons and a correct tone in the correct frequency for the string is played. Simple but working.

A little application to help you tune your six string guitar was missing for the iPhone. Someone is probably making one but we didn't want to wait for that. The one we made is very basic, it just contains six buttons (for every string one button) and if you tap the button it plays the corresponding note.

We would like to make additions to the applications such as more tuning sets and even tuning using the built-in microphone and frequency analysis. We will do so only if enough donations come in.

Note for advanced users: If you like you can change the sounds played by changing the .wav files stored inside to make it useful for other instruments (frequencies). If you made up a good and useful set of sounds you might send it to us so everybody can use it.
